With an unmistakable Italian design, the GT Super by Totem Automobili is the symbol of the rebirth of an icon: the Alfa Romeo GT.

The Venetian manufacturer, which in addition to the 6-cylinder GT Super boasts an electric model in the price list – the GT Electric – has set itself the mission of bringing back the legendary Biscione model by taking care of the entire production chain by hand, as many of the largest manufacturers of four-wheeled masterpieces did in the past.

The craftsmanship that arises high among the virtues of the GT, is supported by the ITV6” engine 100% engineered by the Italtecnica R&D Team.

The V6, a 2.8L with a 90° angle, is an engine with unique characteristics.

Its compactness and lightness allow simplified assembly and maintenance processes thanks to the reduced spatial footprint of the engine in the engine compartment, and weighing less than 180kg, ITV6 is one of the lightest V6s currently on the market.

Its refined Twin-Turbo supercharging system makes it extremely reactive from low revs, guaranteeing a smooth and fast response to the gas, finding an effective power delivery in decidedly short time compared to what can be appreciated on engines with comparable turbochargers: all this due to the careful study of the Italtecnica R&D Team on the phenomenon of “turbo-lag”, which commonly represents one of the most important stumbling blocks in the development of turbocharged engines, through a specific design of the Intercooler system and its piping such as to allow the integration of these components in the space between the two cylinder banks.

This allows the twin-turbocharger system to work with shorter pipes and therefore with a system reduced in size, translating everything into higher performance with lower pressures.

ITV6 in fact, in the 2815cc specification made for this car, delivers 600 horsepower with a turbocharger pressure of 1.0 bar.
